Concerts In The Courtyard – Deacon Dark
A showcase of free local music on the Courtyard at Tonge Row in Old Ellicott City
Deacon Dark are 5 people who love to play hard rocking classics with a particular affinity for 80’s metal! Start with Judas Priest and Scorpions, toss in some Motley Crue and AC/DC and add a pinch of Pat Benatar and Heart and you have the recipe that is Deacon Dark. After gathering to play a one-off show in 2018, the quintet quickly realized they had something special, were having a great time playing hard rocking anthems and loved bringing these classics to audiences young and old-ish. Deacon Dark worked on thru 2020 and ‘21, building a repertoire of great hard rocking classics using just the basics – loud guitars, rocking bass, thunderous drums and great vocals.
Local emerging artists WWKTD will be opening the show at 5pm
The Concerts in the Courtyard regular season runs April – October, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
