Did you know Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10 this year? That means it’s right around the corner!  Do you have a special something for your favorite teacher yet? What about a handmade (by YOU) sign with a saying they hold dear to their hearts?

In this workshop, we will all be using the “Broken Crayons Still Color” stencil to make our signs. But you get to choose your own colors, background and everything to truly make this project your own. (And if you want to go rainbow, we’ll help you do that too! We will be making signs from locally reclaimed wood. Each sign will be approximately 7″x12″. You will paint or stain the wood (if you like), paint it using the stencil, and apply a finish of your choice. Ticket price includes the finished project and all the supplies needed to make it!

The paints we use are all zero VOC and non-toxic. They wash off skin with soap and water but will stain your clothes so keep that in mind. We provide aprons and gloves for you to use if you’d like. Projects are best suited to folks age 8 and up. They do involve a sharp tool, so use your best judgement regarding your children. All workshops are BYOB.
