See Through Poems – Community Celebration Reading
Event Runs April 1 - June 12 • April is National Poetry Month and the perfect time to experience a poetic moment in historic Ellicott City!
Howard County Poetry and Literature Society (HoCoPoLitSo) will host an event celebrating its “See through Poems” project commemorating Ellicott City’s 250th anniversary. Join us Sunday, June 12, starting at 3 p.m. at the Museum of Howard County in Ellicott City for a reading showcasing poems that speak to the town’s history, commerce, and people. From April through June, twenty-five different poems will be on display in Main Street’s windows. On June 12, local poets, community members, and special guests will read selections from the collection. A reception will follow the reading.
