ECP committees devote hundreds of volunteer hours each year to support OEC businesses, increase the positive visibility of the town, and collaborate with the county to move the historic district into a safe and bright future

Works to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly historic community by directing attention to waterways, streams, planted areas and public spaces. Provides educational information to the community through workshops & seminars. Organizes area cleanups, invasive plant removal, gardening, and holiday décor.
Meets 4pm on the first Tuesday of each month.
Hosts town events including annual music festivals – SpringFest and Main Street Music Fest, Mardi Gras on Main, Trick or Treat on Main, Girls Night Out and Midnight Madness. Additionally promotes hundreds of smaller events including OEC Pride, Wizarding Weekend, Ellicott Silly Festival, Howl-O-Ween, Concerts on the Courtyard, Summer Outdoor Movie Series, Yappy Hour and history and ghost tours. Works to create a positive image for the community and tells Old Ellicott City’s story to shoppers and diners, investors, potential business and property owners, and visitors.

Oversees the fiscal management of our organization through the development of budget and fundraising plans for projects and administration.
Meets 8am on the first Tuesday of the month
Evaluates how to retain and expand successful businesses to provide a balanced commercial mix, sharpening the competitiveness and merchandising skills of business owners, and attracting new businesses that the market can support.

Celebrate St. Patrick`s Day with us in Old Ellicott City on Saturday, March 15!
Be on the lookout for Old Ellicott City`s friendly leprechaun. He has sweet treats and a special prize or two for lucky winners. 🍀🌈
Visit participating Ellicott City Partnership business and play the Lucky Duck game for a chance to be entered into our raffle. We`re giving away a $250 gift certificate and three $50 gift certificates to the OEC business of your choice. Look for the Lucky Duck decal outside participating businesses to play the game on Saturday, 3/15.
The Potomac Valley Wolfhound Club will be in front of the Howard County Welcome Center from 12-3pm. Stop by and pet some pups!
The B&O Ellicott City Station Museum is hosting Irish Folk Music from 12:30 - 2pm.
