Great things are happening in OEC

Your donation to Ellicott City Partnership allows us to support the growth of OEC businesses, host and promote the events you love, and help ensure a safe and vibrant future for Old Ellicott City.

Additionally, these projects are on our 2022 to-do list:

  • Directory Boards: Enhancing the visitor experience by installing two directory boards to promote the businesses and events of OEC, and provide way-finding maps.
  • Pedestrian Counters: Collecting valuable visitor counts by installing five people counters throughout town enabling improved preparedness for future events, and providing valuable data for OEC businesses and future ECP programs.
  • Placemaking Art: Adding new art displays within the historic district to support local artists, enhance the beautification of OEC  and elevate the guest experience.

Hey, community members! Early Monday morning, the Department of Public Works will be working to remove remaining snow from Main Street Ellicott City during overnight hours. This most recent storm has left some snow piles at the edge of the roadway. Snow removal will take place during early hours from 3am to 8am on Monday morning, 1/13. We request that residents, business owners, and visitors move cars parked along Main Street to one of town’s parking lots on Sunday night, January 12th, to assist DPW with snow clearing efforts. ... Is this overnight removal still happening? Can't find any info about it. Thanks!
