This lecture will take place at the Elkridge Furnace Inn. See below. Learn about the rich history of this iconic Howard County Landmark from Dan Wecker, the owner of the Elkridge Furnace Inn. Did you know that there was a harbor master’s office on the site? Yes, Elkridge was a deep water port until the latter part of the 18th Century! Learn about what happened to the harbor, as well as the history of the various buildings on the site. Included will be a walking tour of the site for those interested and able (weather permitting).
