Located in one of the 13 original colonies. Our B & O Railroad Station is at the end of the first 13 miles of Commercial Railroad in the United States. Take Baltimore Beltway Exit 13 – Frederick Road.

Our Mt. Misery Ghost Tour let’s you know about courthouse ghosts, students still residing at the Patapsco Female Institute, unhappy prisoners at the Willow Grove Jail, accidental deaths, and residents still greeting visitors from time to time even though dead for many decades.

For 250 years Ellicott City has been home to residents, businesses and a wide variety of visitors. Early Quaker founders, Civil War troops, railroad men, World War I & II soldiers- all have left their mark. Some have decided to call the town their permanent home! At one time there were four funeral homes on Main Street; imagine some of those dearly departed hanging around today. Spirits who occasionally let residents, shop & restaurant owners and visitors know that they are indeed still here!
