It’s not just about Washington Irving, Edgar Allan Poe, and Mark Twain, though they did come to write and work in the region. Learn about the famous library, since destroyed by flood ~ and the women who worked and wrote in the region as well. The presentation will include lively history and readings in honor of National Poetry Month.

Join us to celebrate our little town’s place in the history of the written word!

Tickets include a glass of wine or tea/coffee from the Bibiliopub. Yes, there will be plenty of time before and after to browse the stacks.

Guests should be 12 to attend and must be 21 to drink wine. Non-alcoholic options will be available.

The talk will be inside the Bibiliopub area at Backwater Books; please use your discernment, you know your child/teen best.
