Wizarding Weekend On Magical Main
The 5th Annual Wizarding Weekend flies into Old Ellicott City on October 5 & 6!
The annual Wizarding Weekend on Magical Main returns for the fifth year on October 5th and 6th. The National Federation of the Blind has again teamed up with Ellicott City businesses to bring you a magical weekend! Family friendly activities throughout town are hosted both days
from 10am-7pm.

● Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix viewing at Wine Bin @ 7:00PM
Don your wizard robes and join us at 9:45am on Saturday for a welcome address by government dignitaries. Then, begin the popular Scavenger Hunt throughout town. (Maps can be purchased in Lot D for $5/person and $10/family. All proceeds go to the National Federation of the Blind.)
As you travel through town, you may receive raffle tickets from business owners. Use those raffle tickets to support your Hogwarts House in the House Cup by dropping them into your house’s containers. You may also spot a Fantastic Beast or two. See if you can find them all!
A costume contest will be held both days at 3pm in the newly opened Tiber Park. Several photo opportunities will be set up, so bring your cameras to show off your best costumes!
Finish out the day on Saturday with a viewing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in the Wine Bin parking lot at 8pm. All activities, except the movie, will be available on Sunday.
Activities will be set up in Lot D, Tiber Park, and individual businesses. A full list of activities and store specials will be available on the day of the event. Parking is always a challenge in Historic Ellicott City.
Please use the parking map on the Ellicott City Partnership website to help you plan ahead. Shuttles will not be provided for this event.
