We are a non profit, all volunteer organization founded in 1972 after Hurricane Agnes and have sought to preserve numerous buildings in the Historic District and Ellicott City, beginning with the B & O Train Station museum and most recently renovations to the Howard House. Our primary fundraisers are our famed Decorator Showhouses which began in 1984. We seek to promote the restoration of buildings, promote general interest in the Historic District and educate the public on Ellicott City specifically and Howard County generally.
