Maryland History Tours is a locally owned and operated tour company with local tour guides. Our founder’s family has lived in the area for over 160 years!
Unveiling our past through delightful stories, love letters and history, brought to you at entertaining venues; tales of colorful characters, perspectives of Americana, ghost stories and much more brought to life through the age old art of storytelling.
Our programs focus on people associated with Ellicott City and the Patapsco River Valley. Some deal with those who refuse to leave: Haunted Main Street Tour and Mt. Misery Ghost Tour & The Spirits Pub Crawl!
The tours and presentations will be offered on set dates and times at various restaurants and historical locations in Ellicott City and Catonsville. They will also be available to be booked at someone’s own site or event, Retirement Communities, Senior Centers, Community Associations, business locations
and private homes as well.
